Tilting Wood Panels  often involves tilting the sheet wood from a horizontal to a vertical position. By adding an angle adapter and handle to the vacuum lifter, the suction foot can grip from a horizontal position and tilt to vertical position, a 90 degree manual tilt which uses very little manual force. Power loss does not cause any problems, the vacuum system will make sure that the goods are lowered to the ground in a controlled manner. This system covers a total of 5 working stations. http://www.vacuumlifter.com/docs/Tilting%20Wood%20Panels.pdf

A typical wood application.

VacuMove VM160 with 4-feet yoke, angle adapter, handle and release valve function to facilitate lifting, tilting and placing the wooden panels into a vertical sawing machine. Take a closer look at the Lyftman installation; the complete system is extended to a level just below the lighting (to suspend the system further down you will risk interference with passing trucks etc). From there the VacuMove is suspended to a suitable working level with the help of a chain. The system consists of three(!) gantry profiles instead of the standard two. This is necessary to carry the wide bridge in aluminium.  Look on the video here!
